The Stone House Charitable Fund (SHCF) provides a unique opportunity for donors to build the world they wish to see with sustainable, long-lasting support.

A Review of the Last Year & Our Plans for 2022

Thanks to our amazing clients, we almost DOUBLED our contributions to the Stone House Charitable Fund in 2021 compared to the year prior! We also started the Stone House Scholarship Fund to help local students achieve their goals.

From now until the end of the year, we will be donating $300 for every new client to a local charity. Reach out to an advisor today to learn more about how you can help.

According to Feeding America, due in part to the coronavirus pandemic, one in four children do not know where their next meal will come from.

Driven by Our Clients

We're proud of our Stone House clients, and that's why the Charitable Fund is made for and driven by our client's interests. Their participation helps fuel our contributions, and we use those funds to support our community.

Even new clients impact the Stone House Charitable Fund. By becoming a Stone House client, we automatically donate $300 to the Fund.

The Future of SHCF

The Stone House
Scholarship Fund

Because of the growth we have seen in the Stone House Charitable Fund, we've expanded our contributions to also create an annual scholarship fund to aid students in our area.

Missions That Have Meaning

We look to represent our clients' interests and provide sustainable giving for the biggest impact.

Community-Oriented

Our donations impact the community, including your friends and neighbors.

Learn Why We Began SHCF

LifeSTACK® A Lifetime of Interest

As part of the LifeSTACK® a Lifetime of Interest series, Bob interviewed Earle Wootton, a founding director of The Community Foundation of the Endless Mountains.

Earle challenged Stone House to use the $1,000 donation which normally would be donated to a charity of the guest's choice and build an initiative for charity. That is how the Stone House partners built the Stone House Charitable Fund.

Our vision is to incorporate sustainable and impactful giving to serve our community and to do it in a way that supports our client's passions.

“The inception of this fund is only the beginning; sort of the first block in what we hope will grow into a much larger and stronger foundation for our community over time”

Robert J. Brown, CFP® and Managing Partner at Stone House® Retirement Income Planners.

“We work closely with some clients who really want to make a difference in not only their own family’s lives but also in their community. Many of those folks WANT to give but they’re unsure how. By setting up the Stone House Charitable Fund with the foundation, we’ve made it much easier for them to do so now.”

John Burke, Managing Partner at Stone House® Retirement Income Planners.

“We hope our commitment to providing simple solutions for our clients will transfer into even more philanthropic actions; not only by them, but by others around them as they see and hear of the benefits that giving can provide to the person who is doing the giving.”

Scott Stone, Managing Partner at Stone House® Retirement Income Planners.
